The Gravewarden is a mini-boss of the Overgrown Crypt. It is a wither skeleton in chainmail armour that swings a netherite axe, and it keeps a pair of Crypt Hounds in reserve.

It announces itself with a low wither skeleton groan when it spawns.
Strategy#
- The wither effect and the toss only trigger on its melee hits, so staying out of reach avoids them.
- The hounds only appear after it drops below half health, and only some of the hits it takes call them. Be ready to clear them.
- Its damage is multiplied on Hard (x1.4), so keep your health topped up.
Rewards#
| Reward | Amount |

| Party score | +150, on top of the +10 kill |
| Sewer Shards | 40 to each party member who has dealt damage during the run |
Defeating the mini-boss also opens the way on, because it is the objective of its level. See Dungeon Run Mechanics.
