Raining Anvils

Blast Prison pickaxe enchant that can trigger while mining to drop explosive anvils over a 7x7 area of your mine.

Raining Anvils is a blast pickaxe enchant that drops explosive anvils onto the area of your mine around the block you mined.

Effect#

  • Each time you mine a block, Raining Anvils rolls a chance of 0.02% per level, up to 2% at level 100.
  • When it triggers, anvils start falling from 50 blocks above the top of the mine over the 7 x 7 area centred on the block you mined (only the columns that are inside the mine). One anvil always falls; each of the other columns gets an anvil with a 20% chance.
  • Each anvil explodes where it lands and breaks every block in a 9 x 9 x 9 cube around the impact point, so several layers of blocks below the impact fall.
  • Only blocks that belong to your mine are broken, and unbreakable blocks are skipped.
  • Blocks broken this way pay out like blocks you mine yourself: tokens go to your balance and drops go to your backpack, and Fortune and Token Finder apply to them. Blocks broken by an enchant never roll for other enchants, so enchants do not chain.
  • It does not trigger in prestige mines.

Levels#

LevelChance per block mined
10.02% (1 in 5,000)
50.1% (1 in 1,000)
100.2% (1 in 500)
250.5% (1 in 200)
501% (1 in 100)
751.5% (1 in 67)
1002% (1 in 50)

The number of anvils, the area and the blast size are the same at every level. The level only changes how often it triggers.

A chat message ("Your Raining Anvils enchant activated!") confirms each trigger unless you have switched enchant activation messages off in your options.

Cost and unlocking#

It unlocks at Prestige 3 and shows as Epic in the enchant menu. Level 1 costs 100,000 tokens, and each further level costs more, following the formula on Pickaxe Enchant Costs. Your purchase cap is level 56 at Prestige 3 and reaches the full 100 levels at Prestige 7 (Pickaxe Enchant Caps). The maximum level does not change with rebirth.

Notes#

  • With the full 7 x 7 area available you can expect about 11 anvils per trigger (1 guaranteed plus 20% of the other 48 columns). Near a wall of the mine there are fewer columns, so fewer anvils.
  • The anvils take a moment to fall from 50 blocks up, so the blocks break a short time after the message.
