A Pouch is a chest item that holds an unrevealed amount of one currency. There are three kinds, named Money Pouch, Tokens Pouch and Beacons Pouch. The lore shows a Low and a High figure; when you open the pouch you receive a random amount between the two.
Using a pouch#
- Hold the pouch and right-click.
- One pouch from the stack is used up, a POUCH title appears with "Received (amount)", and a level-up sound plays.
- The amount is added straight to your balance.
Every amount from Low to High is equally likely, and the amount is not changed by boosters, prestige, rebirth or any other multiplier. Pouches stack up to 64. If the payment fails you see "Failed to redeem the pouch!".
There are pouches for money, tokens and beacons.
Where pouches come from#
Pouches are crate rewards. The crates you earn by progressing give them every time they roll one: prestige rewards hold Money Pouches of $500M to $2B and Tokens Pouches of 100M to 1B, and rebirth rewards hold Tokens Pouches of 5B to 15B. See Prestige and Rebirth.
Limited-time crates have also offered pouches, with sizes from a few thousand to billions. Read the Low and High figures in the pouch lore rather than assuming a size, and see Prison Crates for the odds.
Some crates pay currency straight to your balance instead of as a pouch, see Money in Prison, Tokens and Beacons.
Tips#
- A rebirth Tokens Pouch holds 5 to 15 billion tokens, several times the first rebirth fee of 1 billion.
- Pouches are items, so you can trade them with other players before opening them.
