Blackhole

Blackhole is a blast pickaxe enchant that opens a black hole above your mine. It pulls in and consumes the mine's blocks, starting with the ones closest to it.

Effect#

• Each time you mine a block, Blackhole rolls a chance of 0.03% per level, up to 3% at level 100.
• When it triggers, a black hole forms 5 blocks above the top of the mine, over the block you mined. After a short build-up animation it starts pulling blocks in.
• For 10 seconds it consumes up to 15 blocks every tick, which is up to 300 blocks per second and at most 3,000 blocks per trigger. It works outwards in widening shells, so the blocks nearest to the hole go first.
• Only blocks that belong to your mine are consumed. A few of the blocks are shown flying into the hole; the rest simply vanish.
• Blocks broken this way pay out like blocks you mine yourself: tokens go to your balance and drops go to your backpack, and Fortune and Token Finder apply to them. Blocks broken by an enchant never roll for other enchants, so enchants do not chain.
• You can only have one Blackhole running at a time. If it triggers again while one is active, nothing extra happens.
• It ends early if the mine has no blocks left in range.
• It does not trigger in prestige mines.

Levels#

The black hole is the same at every level. The level only changes how often it triggers. Each rebirth raises the maximum level by 10.

Blackhole does not show a chat message when it opens.

Cost and unlocking#

It unlocks at Prestige 6 and shows as Legendary in the enchant menu. Level 1 costs 150,000 tokens, and each further level costs more, following the formula on Pickaxe Enchant Costs. You can buy all 100 levels as soon as it unlocks (Pickaxe Enchant Caps). The maximum level rises by 10 with every rebirth.

Notes#

• It consumes at most 3,000 blocks per trigger, so in a mine larger than that it clears only the part closest to the hole, which is the top of the mine around where you mined.
