The Sunset Lootbox is the Sunset event crate. Each key opens a box that deals out four rewards at once from a Prison-only list: 2.6x boosters, rank skips and pouches, the Ember Tally and Horizon Ledger relics, rebirth skips and the Excavator Suit.
How to get keys#
Sunset Lootbox Keys have been sold in the store (Store). Packages and availability change, so check the store for what is offered now. Keys arrive in your inventory. The crate cannot be earned through prestige, rebirth or voting. Keys you already hold keep working if the crate is no longer sold.
Opening#
The Sunset Lootbox can be opened anywhere: hold the key and right-click a block, or use /crate openall sunset2026 to open up to 64 keys at once. A single key plays the Unboxing animation: a box appears, charges up, bursts open and deals out the four rewards from the most common to the rarest. Bedrock players see a menu spin instead. Where the crate has a crate block, left-click it to preview. See Prison Crates for opening rules, bulk openings and delivery.
Chat announces when someone opens a Sunset Lootbox (with "4X REWARDS") and announces each reward the opener wins. Bulk openings are not announced. The crate has no guaranteed rewards, milestones or rerolls.
