Riches is a Rare enchant for Diamond Pickaxe pickaxes. When you break an ore block, it has a 5% chance to multiply everything the ore drops. The multiplier is the enchant level plus one, so level V multiplies the drops by six.
How to get it#
Riches comes from the Rare rune, which costs 30,000 XP in the enchant shop. The Rare rune pool in Skyblock holds 12 enchants and each one is equally likely, so a Rare rune gives Riches about 1 time in 12 (8.3%). Riches is not on any crate gear.
A book from a rune comes with an unknown level between I and V. Lower levels are more likely than higher ones (see the table below) and the book's success chance is random between 1% and 100%. See Runes and Enchanted Books.
Effect#
- You break an ore block with a Riches pickaxe in your main hand. Stone types do not count; only the ores listed under mining blocks.
- Riches rolls a 5% chance. The chance is the same at every level.
- On success, every item stack the ore dropped is multiplied by the level plus one. Fortune from the pickaxe has already been applied, so the two stack.
The level does not change the chance, only the size of the multiplier. Over many ores the average gain is 5% of the normal drops for each level.
