The Island Menu system is the set of windows behind /island. Your Skyblock Islands lists every island you belong to, Select an Island asks which island you mean when several fit, and the main Island Menu is the control panel of one island: teleport home, members, permissions, upgrades, settings, status, masteries, generator, dimensions, recruitment, leaving and disbanding.
Every button in these menus reacts to a plain click. There are no right-click, shift-click or middle-click variants, so the menus work the same on Java and Bedrock.
How the menus connect#
/island(or/is) opens Your Skyblock Islands.- Clicking one of your islands opens the Island Menu for it.
- The buttons of the Island Menu open the other island menus, which each have their own page.
Commands such as /is settings or /is members open a sub-menu directly, and they use the island you are standing on, or the Select an Island menu when you belong to several islands and are not standing on one. The rules are on Creating an Island.
Your Skyblock Islands#
/island always opens this three-row menu, whether you have no island, one island or several. Your islands fill the middle row, seven to a page.
| Slot | Button | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Middle row | One head per island you belong to | Opens the Island Menu of that island. The island is also remembered as your selected island |
| Bottom row, slot 2 | Previous page arrow | Shows the previous page of islands |
| Bottom row, slot 4 | Create Island | Opens the Create Island menu, see below |
| Bottom row, slot 6 | Find an Island | Opens the island recruitment browser |
| Bottom row, slot 8 | Next page arrow | Shows the next page of islands |
Island entries
| Entry | Name colour | Tooltip |
|---|---|---|
| Island you own | Gold, the island's name | "Owner", "Members: <number>", "Click to manage" |
| Island you joined | Aqua, the island's name | "Member", "Owner: <owner>", "Members: <number>", "Click to manage" |
- The head shows the skin of the island's owner. The name is the island's custom name, or
<owner>'s Island when it has none, see naming your island. - If you are standing in that island's world, the tooltip also says "You are here".
- The Members number counts everyone on the island, the owner included.
Create Island
| State | Icon | Tooltip | Click |
|---|---|---|---|
| You can own another island | "Start your own skyblock adventure" and "Click to create" | Closes the menu and opens the Create Island menu with the available templates | |
| You own as many islands as you may | "You've reached the maximum number of islands you can own." and "Delete an island to create a new one" | Nothing |
Find an Island
| State | Icon | Tooltip | Click |
|---|---|---|---|
| You have a free member slot | "Browse islands looking for members and apply to join one." and "Click to browse" | Closes the menu and opens the recruitment browser | |
| You belong to as many islands as you may join | Adds "You have no free member slot." and "Leave an island to free one up." | Still opens the browser |
See Creating an Island for the island limits and Island Recruitment for the browser.
Create Island#
A three-row menu titled Create Island with one button per island template. Only the Original Island template is on offer. Clicking it creates the island and teleports you there. Details are on Creating an Island.
Select an Island#
The Select an Island menu opens when a command or menu needs to know which island you mean and more than one fits. It prints "You have multiple islands. Please select one." first. It is not shown when only one island fits.
| Slot | Button | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Top left | Shows "Owned Islands: <owned>/<limit>" and "Member Islands: <joined>/<limit>", plus the limits in words. Not clickable | |
| Middle row | One head per island | Selects that island and continues the command that opened the menu |
| Bottom row | Previous and next page arrows | Change page |
- The entries look like the ones in Your Skyblock Islands, but the tooltip ends in "Click to select". Owned islands are gold, joined islands aqua, and "You are here" marks the island you stand in.
- The same menu lists another player's islands for
/is visit <player>and/is info <player>, and the islands that invited you when you accept or reject an invite. - Closing the menu without clicking cancels the command.

Who can use what#
All members see every button. A click that the player's role does not allow either does nothing or answers "You don't have permission to do that!". Roles run from Guest, Co-Op, Default, Trusted and Officer up to Co-Owner and Owner. The defaults below can be changed by the owner in the permissions menu.
| Button | Who can use it |
|---|---|
| Visit Island | Every member |
| Island Settings, Island Permissions | Every member can open them. Changing settings needs Set Island Settings, which Officers and above hold by default. Saving a permission change needs Set Permissions and, with default settings, in practice only the owner can save, see who can change permissions |
| Island Status | Making the island public needs Open Island (Co-Owner and above by default). Making it private needs Close Island (Officer and above by default). An island with public warps cannot be made private |
| Island Members | Opens only for a member who holds at least one of Invite Member, Kick Member, Ban Members, Promote Members or Demote Members. Officers and above by default. Other members click and nothing happens |
| Island Upgrades | The button opens only for the island owner. Other members can open the menu with /is upgrades, and what they can buy there depends on their permissions, see Island Upgrades |
| Island Masteries, Value Items | Every member |
| Island Generator, Generator Filter, Island Dimensions | Every member can open them, but the island has to be loaded. If it is not you get "Your island must be loaded to manage the generator!" (or "...the generator filter!" or "...dimensions!"). Use Visit Island first |
| Recruitment | Opens only for a member who holds Manage Recruitment Listing (Co-Owner and above by default) or Review Island Applications (Officer and above by default) |
| Leave Island | Every member except the owner. The owner gets "You are the owner of the island!" |
| Disband Island | The owner only. Anyone else sees the confirmation menu and then "You are not the owner of the island!", and nothing is deleted |
Weekly challenges#
The live Island Menu has no Weekly Challenges button. Open the challenges with /is challenges instead, see Island Challenges.
Opening a sub-menu with a command#
| Command | Opens |
|---|---|
/is members | Island Members |
/is permissions (alias /is perms) | Island Permissions |
/is upgrades (alias /is upgrade) | Island Upgrades |
/is masteries (aliases /is mastery, /masteries) | Island Masteries |
/is valueitems (alias /is lastvalueitems) | Value Items |
/is generator | Island Generator |
/is generatorfilter (alias /is genfilter) | Generator Filter |
/is dimensions (alias /is dimension) | Island Dimensions |
/is challenges (alias /is challenge) | Weekly challenges |
The disband confirmation#
Disband Island closes the Island Menu and opens a confirmation window titled Disband your Island. The centre shows an Information item with "Are you sure you want to disband your island?" and "This action cannot be undone!". The green Accept area on the right deletes the island. The red Decline area on the left cancels and returns you to the Island Menu. The full list of what is deleted is on Deleting and Resetting an Island.
Tips#
- Use the Island Status block to open your island for a visit and to close it again. Its colour tells you the state at a glance: emerald is public, redstone is private.
- If a button does nothing, check your role. Members below Officer cannot open Island Members, and only the owner can use Island Upgrades here.
- Several islands? The head with "You are here" in the island list tells you which island the commands will use.
