Island Value is the number that ranks Skyblock islands on the Island Top leaderboards. It does not count the blocks you build with. Instead, your island earns value by depositing special items into an Island Value Cauldron. Each item has a fixed worth, and every deposit adds that worth to your island permanently.
Overview#
- Value comes only from a short list of items (see valued items).
- Deposited items are consumed. The value they add is never removed.
- Your island has two totals: permanent value (everything ever deposited) and weekly value (everything deposited since the last weekly reset). The weekly total is what the weekly leaderboard prizes are based on, see Island Top.
- Blocks, spawners, chest contents and builds do not add or remove value.

Valued items#
These are all the items that currently count. Everything else is refused by the cauldron.

- The Amethyst Shard, Echo Shard and Disc Fragment 5 are special island level items that are only sold in the shop. A normal amethyst shard, echo shard or disc fragment from the world is worth nothing, and the island level items cannot be crafted into other items.
- The shop category is called Island Value Items in the main shop menu. It sells the four purchasable items above. Every item is priced at $10,000 per value point.
- The Dragon Egg Relic is the weekly End prize from Island Challenges. It must be a genuine relic to count; a copy or imitation is refused.
- The same shop category also sells the Dragon Summon Egg, which is used for a challenge and has no island value.
The Island Value Cauldron#
The Island Value Cauldron is a special cauldron block that only works on an island. It shows a hologram reading "Put stuff in here to increase your island value!".

If you shift-right-click while holding nothing valuable you hear the refusal sound and get "You aren't holding an item that can be deposited!".
The cauldron menu#

How deposits are recorded#
- Deposits are batched for a few seconds before being recorded (at most 30 seconds), and island totals are recalculated about once a minute. Your
/is levelfigures and the leaderboards can therefore lag a short while behind a deposit. - The value of each item is fixed when you deposit it. A later change to an item's value does not change the value you already have.
- The shop and the cauldron are used from the island: the cauldron only works inside an island world, and the island that owns that world receives the value.
Weekly and permanent value#

Tips#
- The price per value point is the same for every shop item, so buy whichever denomination is convenient. Higher denominations simply need fewer deposits.
- Every deposit counts for the island whose cauldron you use, so contribute on the island you want to rank.
- A Dragon Egg Relic is by far the largest single deposit at 10,000 value, so it is worth claiming every week, see Island Challenges.
