Spawner items are bought in the server shop and placed on your island to create or grow a managed spawner.
Buying#
Open /shop and choose Spawners (or run /shop Spawner). Each entry sells one unit of one mob. You can only buy and place a mob once your island has unlocked it in Mob Mastery; locked entries show what is missing.
A spawner item you buy is a normal mob spawner item. When you place it on your island it becomes a managed spawner. Items you already own in another form are accepted too: vanilla spawner items, stacked spawner items and managed spawner items that you picked up earlier.

The shop price is the base cost of the first unit of that mob on your island. Additional units of the same mob cost more through the expansion fee (Placing and Stacking Spawners).
Unlocking mobs#
Mob unlocks follow the chain in Mob Mastery. Three mobs start unlocked (Sheep, Blaze and Enderman) and every other mob unlocks when an earlier mob reaches a given Mob Mastery level:
- Sheep -> Pig (level 8) -> Chicken (10) -> Cow (12) -> Zombie (13) -> Skeleton (14) -> Spider (15) -> Creeper (16) -> Iron Golem (20) -> Villager (22) -> Vindicator (24)
- Blaze -> Zombified Piglin (26) -> Magma Cube (28) -> Wither Skeleton (34)
- Enderman -> Shulker (36)
Mob Mastery experience is earned by killing that mob, by hand or through the reduced automation share (Reaping Spawners). If you try to buy or place a locked spawner you see: "You haven't unlocked that spawner yet!", or on placement "This island hasn't unlocked {mob} mastery yet! Reach {mob} mastery level {n} first."

Spawners can appear as crate rewards; check the crate previews at /warp crates (Skyblock Crates) for what is offered. The Skyblock shop is the guaranteed source.
