Robots are workers that live in your personal collection and can be deployed onto your island. A deployed robot repeats one job on a fixed timer: Mining robots mine generator blocks, Farming robots harvest crops, Fishing robots fish, Forestry robots chop trees and Mob robots kill mobs or harvest managed spawners. Their output is stored in the robot and collected from its menu.
Open your collection with /robots (alias /robot).
Getting your first robot#
- Reach Mastery level 5. Each robot type needs level 5 in any element of its Mastery track on your island: Ore for Mining, Crops for Farming, Fishing for Fishing, Foraging for Forestry, Mobs for Mob.
- Unlock the type in the Robot Shop (nether star button in your collection) for $15,000. Unlocks are permanent.
- Buy a robot of that type for $60,000. The robot's rarity is rolled when you buy it.
- Deploy it from its Manage Robot menu while standing on your island, on solid ground with two blocks of space.
Messages: "Unlocked Mining robots permanently.", "Purchased a Legendary Mining robot!", "Robot deployed to this island." A purchase asks for confirmation; you can disable that prompt in /options.
Rarity#
Every robot is Standard, Legendary or Mythic. The rarity is rolled once, when you buy the robot, and cannot be changed.
| Rarity | Chance | Performance | Battery capacity | Battery use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 75% | x1 | none | - |
| Legendary | 20% | x1.35 | 24 hours of charge | 1 s of charge per operation |
| Mythic | 5% | x1.75 | 48 hours of charge | 0.75 s of charge per operation |
Performance multiplies the robot's work rate. Standard robots never need batteries ("Self-Powered"). Legendary and Mythic robots only work while they hold charge, see Batteries.
Limits#
- You can own at most 12 robots in total.
- An island can have 4 robots placed at the same time. The Robot Placement Limit island upgrade raises this (Island Upgrades):
| Island upgrade level | Placed robots | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 | free |
| 2 | 5 | $5,000,000 |
| 3 | 6 | $40,000,000 |
| 4 | 7 | $300,000,000 |
| 5 | 8 | $1,500,000,000 |
Trying to deploy beyond the limit shows "This island already has 4 of 4 robots placed. Upgrade Robot Placement Limit in /is upgrades for another slot." The deploying player also needs the island permission Manage Robots.
Your collection#
/robots opens Your Robots (owned/limit), one entry per robot showing its rarity and type, status, location, battery, work frequency, capacity, storage used, progression XP and total operations. Click a robot to manage it. The Robot Usage paper shows robots owned, robots placed on your island and the placed limit.
Managing a robot#
The Manage Robot menu has these buttons:
| Button | Function |
|---|---|
| Info paper | Rarity, status, performance, work interval, speed, efficiency, activity bonus, radius, capacity, storage, battery details, upgrades, enhancements, statistics and location. |
| Rarity Comparison | Compares Standard, Legendary and Mythic versions of the same robot. |
| Deploy / Recall | Places the robot where you stand on your island, or returns it to your collection remotely. |
| Upgrades | Opens the upgrade menu (below). |
| Storage | Shows built-in storage and any external storage; click to collect the built-in storage into your inventory. |
| Battery | Click to insert one Robot Battery from your inventory (Legendary and Mythic only). |
| Apply Enhancement | Consumes one Robot Enhancement item from your inventory. |
| Delete Robot | Permanently deletes the robot after a confirmation. |
How a robot works#
A deployed robot performs one operation every work interval. The interval is the type's base interval divided by the product of its Speed, Efficiency, Activity Bonus and rarity Performance multipliers (the interval never drops below 0.05 seconds). Capacity is how many operations it performs each time. Items produced go into the robot's built-in storage; when the storage is full the robot pauses until you collect. A container placed directly below the robot is external storage that also receives output.
| Type | Base interval | Output cap per operation | Job |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mining | 2 seconds | 16 items | Mines generator-formed blocks in range |
| Farming | 2 seconds | 256 items | Harvests and replants crops |
| Fishing | 20 seconds | 1 fish | Fishes in nearby water |
| Forestry | 2 seconds | - | Chops logs and stems |
| Mob | 2 seconds | 8 items | Kills mobs or reaps managed spawners |
Robots never grant island Mastery experience, never advance quests, challenges, skills or kill statistics, and do not trigger kill enchants.
Upgrades#
Every robot has six upgrade paths, each with five levels, shared by all types. Each purchased level applies its effect on top of the previous ones (multipliers multiply, Radius and Storage add).
| Path | Effect per level | Total cost (5 levels) |
|---|---|---|
| Speed | x1.1 Speed per level | $750,000 |
| Efficiency | x1.1 Efficiency per level | $900,000 |
| Radius | +1 block radius per level | $1,125,000 |
| Capacity | x1.15 Capacity per level | $1,200,000 |
| Storage | +576 storage per level | $975,000 |
| Activity Bonus | x1.1 Activity Bonus per level | $1,500,000 |
Level requirements#
The five levels of every base path share the same requirements:
| Level | Requirement |
|---|---|
| 1 | none |
| 2 | Mastery level 10 in the robot's track |
| 3 | Generator tier 2 and Island Size upgrade level 2 |
| 4 | Nether unlocked (Island Dimensions (Nether and End)) |
| 5 | Mastery level 25 in the robot's track, Island Size upgrade level 3 and End unlocked |
Costs per level#
| Level | Speed | Efficiency | Radius | Capacity | Storage | Activity Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $50,000 | $60,000 | $75,000 | $80,000 | $65,000 | $100,000 |

Type-specific paths#
| Path | Available to | Levels | Cost | Effect per level | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nether Mining | Mining | 3 | $250,000 / $500,000 / $750,000 | x1.1 Speed, x1.1 Efficiency | Nether unlocked |
| Nether Slayer | Mob | 3 | $250,000 / $500,000 / $750,000 | x1.1 Speed, x1.1 Efficiency | Nether unlocked |

Opening a robot's Upgrades menu shows each upgrade with What it changes, the current and next value, cost, requirements and availability. Upgrade names are Speed, Efficiency, Radius, Capacity, Storage and Activity Bonus.
Enhancements#
Robot Enhancements are consumable items applied from the Manage Robot menu. Each lasts 1 hour and does not stack with itself:
| Enhancement | Effect | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Overclock | x1.25 Speed | 1 hour |
| Yield Booster | x1.25 Activity Bonus | 1 hour |
Enhancements can come from robot care packages in crate rewards (Skyblock Crates) and from event treasure.
