Sawmill is an Uncommon enchant for Diamond Axe axes. The drops of every tree block you break are sold at once and the money is added to your balance, so you never have to carry logs to the shop.
How to get it#
- Uncommon rune: 15,000 XP in the enchant shop. The Uncommon rune pool in Skyblock holds 12 enchants and each one is equally likely, so an Uncommon rune gives Sawmill about 1 time in 12 (8.3%). Sawmill has one level, so the book comes with the level already fixed.
- Crate axes: axes from limited-time lootboxes, such as the Summer Axe, Sunset Axe and Twilight Axe (levels 8-15), come with Sawmill. The level makes no difference: Sawmill works the same at every level. See Skyblock Crates and Custom Items.
Effect#
- You break a log, wood block, stem or leaves with a Sawmill axe in your main hand.
- Sawmill always applies. There is no chance roll and no cooldown.
- Everything the block dropped is sold at the normal shop sell prices and the money is added to your balance. See Shop for the prices.
Leaves count too, so the apples they drop are sold as well. Sawmill adds no price bonus of its own, so the items sell at the normal shop sell price. Items that the shop does not buy are not sold and drop where the block stood. On Skyblock the shop buys logs, stems and apples, but not saplings, sticks, wood blocks, hyphae or stripped logs.
Sawmill also sells the drops of the blocks that Grove and Topple fell.
Notes and tips#
- Sawmill only sells the drops of the blocks you break, never what is already in your inventory, so saplings you carry for Reforest are safe.
- Sawmill and Topple work well together: the drops of every block that Topple fells are sold too.
