The PvP Arena is where Skyblock players fight each other. It is reached with /warp pvp ("Fight other players in combat. Prove your skills on the leaderboard."). Skyblock spawn also hosts timed PvP events: a KOTH, hourly envoys and capture outposts. Island worlds are not PvP zones; see PvP for network-wide PvP rules.
Combat tag#
Hitting or being hit by another player puts you in combat for 30 seconds ("You have entered combat!", then "You are no longer in combat!"). While in combat:
- You cannot use commands except
/msg("You can't use this command while in combat!"). - You cannot use End portals, and elytra are disabled.
- You cannot teleport into a safe zone, or out of the warzone ("You can't teleport into a safe zone while in combat!", "You can't teleport out of the warzone while in combat!"). Ender pearls and chorus fruit cannot be used to bypass this.
- Combat does not end when you kill your opponent; the timer runs out on its own.
- Safe zones (spawn, the outposts) protect you from other players. Entering or leaving shows "You have entered the safe zone." / "You have left the safe zone."

Mace damage is capped at 6.0 per hit. The cooldown message is "Your golden apple cooldown is still active. Time remaining: 4s." (with the item and time).
Inferno KOTH#
A KOTH (king of the hill) lets players capture a zone. The Skyblock KOTH is Inferno KOTH at spawn.
- Open the
/kothmenu to see whether it is active (KOTH Active with coordinates) or when it starts;/nextkothshows the timer ("The Inferno KOTH will start in 10m."). - Stand in the zone to start capturing; the capture time is 150 seconds. Messages announce who is capturing, a warning at 2 minutes and 1 minute, and the winner.
- The winner receives one KOTH Crate key, opened at
/warp crates. The KOTH Crate rewards enchanted KOTH netherite armor and more; see Skyblock Crates. - If nobody captures for 10 minutes the server announces that the KOTH is uncapped; an uncapped KOTH ends after 1 hour.
- A Koth Flare (firework item) triggers a KOTH immediately.
Envoys#
Every hour supply crates called envoys land around Skyblock spawn: between 30 and 60 at a time. Announcements come 5 minutes ("The envoy will start in 5 minutes! Get ready!") and 1 minute ("Do /warp pvp to prepare!") beforehand. Click an envoy crate to claim it; it announces the finder and the reward, and "Envoy | N crates remaining" counts down. Envoy spots come in three types: a Basic spot spawns a crate 50% of the time, a Rare spot 25% and a Legendary spot 10%. Each crate gives one reward:
