Ore Mastery is the mining track of Island Mastery. You earn 1 experience for every block that your island generator formed when you mine it. Each ore, stone and Nether block is its own element with its own level.
Elements#
All ore elements are unlocked from the start. Every element has 75 levels.
| Element | Generator output | Mined in |
|---|---|---|
| Cobblestone | Cobblestone | Overworld |
| Coal Ore | Coal Ore | Overworld |
| Copper Ore | Copper Ore | Overworld |
| Iron Ore | Iron Ore | Overworld |
| Lapis Lazuli Ore | Lapis Ore | Overworld |
| Redstone Ore | Redstone Ore | Overworld |
| Gold Ore | Gold Ore | Overworld |
| Diamond Ore | Diamond Ore | Overworld |
| Emerald Ore | Emerald Ore | Overworld |
| Basalt | Basalt | Nether |
| Blackstone | Blackstone | Nether |
| Nether Quartz Ore | Nether Quartz Ore | Nether |
| Nether Gold Ore | Nether Gold Ore | Nether |
| Glowstone | Glowstone | Nether |
| Magma Block | Magma Block | Nether |
| Gilded Blackstone | Gilded Blackstone | Nether |
| Ancient Debris | Ancient Debris | Nether |
Elements gain experience only from blocks of that type: mining coal ore gives Coal Ore experience, mining magma blocks gives Magma Block experience. Blocks you placed yourself, or blocks that were moved by pistons, burned or blown up, do not count (Island Generators).
Perks#
At level 75 each element gives +30% sell price on its listed items. The XP boost raises the experience orbs dropped by that ore.

|---|---|---|
| Cobblestone | +1% Cobblestone XP per level | Cobblestone (+0.4% per level) |
| Coal Ore | +1.2% Coal Ore XP per level | Coal (+0.4% per level) |
| Copper Ore | +1.4% Copper Ore XP per level | Copper Ingot (+0.4% per level) |
| Iron Ore | +1.5% Iron Ore XP per level | Iron Ingot (+0.4% per level) |

Why Ore Mastery matters#
- Buying generator tiers needs a minimum level in the ore listed in Generator Tiers (for example Gold Ore level 15 for Overworld tier 8, Glowstone level 10 for Nether tier 7).
- Miner robots need Ore Mastery level 5 to unlock and to deploy.
- The Nether and End need Ore Mastery paths (Island Dimensions (Nether and End)).
Experience needed per level#
Total experience the element must have reached for each level. Elements that share a column have identical tables.
