The Generator Filter lets you remove outputs you do not want from your generator, so the blocks you do want form more often. The filter is stored separately for the Overworld and Nether generators.
Opening the filter#
Stand on your island in the dimension whose generator you want to change and run /island generatorfilter (alias /island genfilter), or click the filter button in the generator menu (Island Generators). Your island must be loaded.
Rules#
- You can disable at most 4 outputs per dimension. Trying more is refused: "You can only disable up to 4 generator outputs. Re-enable another output before disabling this one."
- Cobblestone (Overworld) and Basalt (Nether) are always enabled: "Cobblestone is always enabled and cannot be filtered from your generator!"
- Locked outputs cannot be selected. In the Overworld every ore is already unlocked in Ore Mastery, so all nine Overworld outputs can be switched, including outputs of tiers you have not bought yet. In the Nether an output shows as tier locked ("Unlock this output by upgrading your generator tier") until your Nether generator tier includes it.
- Changing the filter needs the island permission to manage the generator filter (roles are set in the island permissions menu, see Island Settings). Without it you see a no-permission message.
- Disabled outputs stay disabled after you upgrade the generator tier. The remaining outputs split the chance by their weights.
