The Farming Robot is one of the five robot types. It harvests fully grown crops within its radius and replants where possible.
Getting it#
- Reach level 5 in Crops Mastery (any element), then unlock the farming type in the Robot Shop for $15,000.
- Buy a robot for $60,000. The rarity (Standard 75%, Legendary 20%, Mythic 5%) is rolled on purchase.
- Deploy it on your island from its Manage Robot menu. The same Mastery level 5 is required to deploy.
What it does#
- Harvests only fully grown crops. Eligible plants are wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, nether wart, melons, pumpkins, sugar cane, cactus, bamboo, cocoa, kelp, cave vines, sweet berry bushes, red and brown mushrooms and chorus plants and flowers.
- Replants harvested crops automatically.
- Chorus: a chorus plant is harvested and its flowers replanted. Replanting needs chorus flowers in the container directly below the robot.
- Does not give Crops Mastery experience.
Output#
Crop drops such as wheat, seeds, carrots, potatoes, beetroot, nether wart, melon slices, pumpkins, sugar cane, cactus, bamboo, cocoa beans, kelp, glow berries, sweet berries, mushrooms, chorus fruit and chorus flowers, and poisonous potatoes. Up to 256 items per operation.
Work speed#
Base interval 2 seconds. The interval is divided by Speed x Efficiency x Activity Bonus x rarity Performance (Standard x1.0, Legendary x1.35, Mythic x1.75). The table assumes Speed, Efficiency and Activity Bonus are all at the level shown (each level multiplies by 1.1):

Capacity (x1.15 per level, rounded) is how many operations happen each time: 1 at base and levels 1 to 2, 2 operations at levels 3 to 5. Radius grows from 3 to 8 blocks and built-in storage from 1,728 to 4,608 items over five levels each. See robot upgrades for all costs and requirements.
Tips#
- Place the robot in the middle of a farm and raise Radius first to cover more crops.
- Crops only grow in their own dimension (Crop Mastery).
- Nether wart and chorus need the Nether and End.
