The hub has three movement features: double jump, a launch pad and a portal that opens the Server Selector. They only exist in the hub.
Double jump#
Press Space twice in quick succession (on Bedrock, tap jump twice). Instead of starting to fly, you are flung forward in the direction you are looking, with a small upward push. The boost comes with a burst of particles and a riptide-style sound.
- There is no cost and no cooldown.
- Flying itself stays off in the hub, so the second press always gives the boost.
Launch pad#
There is one launch pad in the hub, marked with lime-green particles. Walking onto it launches you up and across the hub in a fixed direction, with a firework launch sound. You can chain it with a double jump to cross the hub quickly.
Portal#
The hub has a portal frame. Vanilla portal travel is disabled in the hub. Stepping into the portal plays an enderman teleport sound and portal particles, pushes you backwards, and opens the Server Selector a moment later. It is a shortcut to the same menu as the hotbar nether star.
