Your island or mine never opens a second copy while another server is still saving it, so your progress stays safe.
Key changes
- Your island or mine no longer opens a second copy on another server while the server that last held it is still saving, so your progress is not rolled back.
- If that server has not finished saving, you see a "locked, try again" message instead. This is rare, and the world loads normally once the save is done.
