The new Survival map
Explore the Survival Overworld, Nether and End on netherite.gg/survival/map, with claims, homes and a first-person walk mode.
The Survival map is now built into the Netherite website. It shows the Survival Overworld, Nether and End, flat or in 3D, and it works on a phone as well as a computer. Open netherite.gg/survival/map to look around without joining the game.
- Explore the Overworld, Nether and End in Flat, 3D, Free or Walk view
- Walk around at eye height in your browser, on a keyboard or a touch screen
- Sign in to see your homes on the map and teleport to one from the browser
- Click a chunk to claim it straight from the map, and unclaim your own chunks with a confirm step
- Copy the page address to share the exact spot and view you are looking at
Views
- Flat shows the world from above, like a paper map.
- 3D lets you tilt and rotate the view.
- Free lets you fly over the world.
- Walk puts you at eye height on the ground. Use W A S D or the arrow keys to move, Shift to sprint and Space to jump. On a touch screen, Walk has an on-screen stick and a jump button.
Press 1 to 4 to switch between views, and press ? to open the controls card.
Dimensions
Switch between the Overworld, the Nether and The End at the bottom of the map.
Your homes and your town
Signed in on the website, the map lists your homes. Click a home to fly the map to it, then press Teleport to go there from the browser. You must be online in Survival and not in combat. If the map refuses, it tells you why.
If you are in a town, the members of your town show on the map.
Claims
Click a chunk to claim it. The Your claims panel lists your chunks and the claims around them, so you can see who is next to you. To unclaim one of your own chunks, do it from the map and confirm the step.
Spawn and other protected areas cannot be claimed. Town chunks are still managed in game.
Overlays and settings
The map has overlays you can switch on and off: claims, online players, chunk borders, hover chunk labels and claim neighbours. The 3D detail radius can be Normal, Large or Max. Your settings are saved in your browser, so they stay the same between visits.
Built for the map
Netherite's own map renderer and viewer replace BlueMap. It is part of the website, so there is nothing separate to open. It updates as people build. In our tests on the same regions, it used a fraction of the CPU and memory BlueMap did.
