Skyblock new season: managed spawners, Nether and End islands, enchant overhaul
A fresh Skyblock season with levelled spawners you reap by hand, Nether and End island worlds, a rebuilt enchant pool with the new Apprentice enchant, weekly island challenges, automatic quests and a rebalanced economy.
Skyblock
The new Skyblock season opened on Saturday 3 October at 20:00 UTC on a new Halloween spawn. Everything below is live now.
- Spawners are rebuilt. Each spawner fills a tank over time, even while you are offline. Reap it by hand for full rewards or let collectors and robots do it for less.
- Your island grows into the Nether and the End. Each world has its own crops, spawners, challenges and a sell boost.
- The enchant pool is rebuilt around 50 enchants that are worth rolling, with stronger numbers across the board and a new helmet enchant, Apprentice.
- Weekly island challenges pay up to $1,500,000 each, and clearing the End's challenges earns the Dragon Egg Relic.
- Quests progress on their own again, across 70 quests.
- The economy is rebalanced for a full season: new /sell prices, priced automation and island taxes.
Spawners
- Place a spawner next to or against one of the same mob and they merge into one stack. Placing a stack asks you to confirm once. Sneak while placing to add a single spawner.
- Every spawner produces 240 mobs per hour per spawner in the stack, into a tank. A full tank pauses until you empty it. Tanks start at 8 hours and upgrade to 12, 16, 24 and 48 hours.
- Hit the mob on top of the spawner to reap. A hand reap kills up to 8 mobs at once, plus your island's kill capacity upgrade, Multi Kill and the Slayer perk. Hand reaps give full mastery XP, challenge and quest progress, mob points and enchant effects.
- Loot from a hand reap drops on the ground above the spawner and your XP goes straight to you, so a full inventory never costs you a drop.
- Collectors and robots can reap for you. They collect 60% of the loot to start, upgradeable to 85%, and earn 25% of the mastery XP. Robots earn no mastery.
- Upgrade levels I to X for up to 3x production. Higher levels need more mob mastery.
- Each extra spawner of the same mob costs 5% more than the last. Breaking and placing again never charges you twice.
- Mobs drop their normal Minecraft loot, with Looting. Villagers are the exception: each one reaped drops 3 to 5 diamonds.
- The ladder runs from Sheep at $200,000 to Shulker at $20,000,000. Each mob unlocks through mastery of the one before it.
- Overworld spawners: Sheep, Pig, Chicken, Cow, Zombie, Skeleton, Spider, Creeper, Iron Golem, Villager, Vindicator.
- Nether spawners: Blaze, Zombified Piglin, Magma Cube, Wither Skeleton.
- End spawners: Enderman, Shulker.
- Holograms above each spawner show its mob, stack size and how full the tank is.
- Payday sells your hand-reaped spawner loot as you reap.
Nether and End
- Unlocking the Nether costs $50,000,000 plus any one of these: Wheat mastery 15, Zombie mastery 10 or Cobblestone mastery 10.
- Unlocking the End needs the Nether first, $1,000,000,000 and any one of these: Nether Wart mastery 15, Blaze mastery 10 or Ancient Debris mastery 8.
- Selling in the Nether pays 5% more, and in the End 10% more.
- Crops grow only in their own world. Nether Wart grows in the Nether, Chorus in the End, and every other crop in the Overworld. The shop shows where each crop grows and locks crops and spawners until your island has the world they need.
- The Nether generator upgrades from $2,500,000 at tier 2.
Masteries
- Every mastery runs to level 75. Each level adds 0.4% to what that item sells for, up to 30%.
- Foraging now covers ten woods. Pale Oak unlocks at Cherry mastery 11 and Poplar at Pale Oak mastery 12.
- XP boosters no longer lose fractions. A 1.5x booster pays 1 or 2 XP at random, averaging 1.5.
- Each mastery type has its own booster timer in /boosters: Crop, Ore, Foraging, Fishing and Mob.
Enchants
- The rune pool is down to 50 enchants: 20 Common, 12 Uncommon, 13 Rare and 5 Legendary. Every roll lands on something that matters.
- Rune costs: Common 4,000 XP, Uncommon 15,000, Rare 30,000, Legendary 120,000.
- Apprentice is a new Rare helmet enchant, levels I to V. It gives 5% more island mastery XP per level, up to 25% at Apprentice V, for everything you do by hand: mobs you kill and spawners you reap yourself, fully grown crops, generator ores, natural logs and fish you catch. Collectors, robots and blocks you placed yourself do not count. It cannot go on the same helmet as Scholar.
- Multi Kill is back as a Legendary enchant. Each level adds one more mob to every hand reap, up to V.
- Slayer is now Butcher, with +15% damage per level up to V.
- Giantkiller deals +20% per level to mobs with 30 or more health, and Opening Hit deals +20% per level.
- Bounty, Riches, Plunder and Twin Line each give a 5% chance per level to double your drops, up to V.
- Big Catch has a flat 3.5% chance to add +200% to a catch per level, up to +1,000% at V.
- Experience, Sea Lore, Cultivate and Logger now give 50% to 100% more mastery XP per level.
- Vitality gives 2 hearts per level and Bulwark 7% damage reduction per level, both up to V. Bracing is always on, with 15% knockback reduction per level.
- XP Telekinesis is now a single-level Common enchant.
- Payday, Market, Fishmonger, Sawmill and the new Cashout for mining each sell items for you as you work. They are single level and do not add a sell bonus.
- Removed from Skyblock: all bow and crossbow enchants, and enchants that did little or overlapped, including Wisdom, Tribute, Siphon, Vein Miner, Timber, Telekinesis and Replanter.
Weekly island challenges
- Each world your island has unlocked gets three challenges a week, resetting Monday at 00:00 UTC. The first island member to claim takes the reward for the island.
- Overworld challenges pay $100,000, Nether $400,000 and End $1,500,000.
- Dragon Slayer asks you to summon and kill your island's dragon, for a 3-day Battery and a 1-day Robot Battery.
- Complete every End challenge in a week to earn the Dragon Egg Relic.
Quests
- Quests in
/questscount automatically again, with no quest to pick first. - 70 quests across farming, mining, woodcutting, fishing and butchery, paying $500 at tier 1 up to $25,000 at the top tier.
- Nether and End quests need that world unlocked, and butchery quests need the mob unlocked.
Island upgrades and robots
- Island size runs to a 1,000 block diameter, and members and warps go up to 15 each.
- The sell boost upgrade goes up to 50% and crop growth up to 3x. Waterless and lightless crops cost $250,000 each.
- The robot upgrade allows up to 8 robots, and the hopper limit rises from 500 to 120,000.
- Mining, Farming, Fishing, Forestry and Mob robots each need mastery 5 in their category. Legendary and Mythic robots work faster and carry bigger batteries.
- The Fishing robot now casts every 20 seconds.
Economy
- /sell prices are rebalanced so later crops, ores and worlds pay more:
- Cocoa is $1.97 (was $22).
- Chorus is $433.
- Sugar cane is $14.10.
- Ores now climb from coal to emerald, with diamond at $10.80 and emerald at $14.

- Batteries are $1,000,000 for 1 hour and $2,500,000 for 3 hours. Collectors use battery per mob, more for high-tier mobs.
- Robot batteries stay at $10,000 and $25,000.
- Coinflip takes a 5% tax, auction listings a 3% fee and chest shop sales a 2% tax.
All gamemodes
- Buying from
/ahon Skyblock and Prison is safer. If the purchase can't be confirmed straight away you see "Confirming your purchase, please stay online". Anything you paid for but didn't receive waits in/ah won, which now always opens. - On Skyblock, Prison and Survival, skill perks that double your drops no longer go past a full stack.
- Changelog entries show how many players viewed and liked them, on the website and in game on Prison and Skyblock.
